Sage Accpac WMS Receiving & Put Away moves received goods from your dock into your warehouse, into the right location, in the most efficient manner possible. This facilitates timely and accurate order fulfillment by creating an optimized order-picking environment for warehouse staff.

In your warehouse you can assign multiple employees to the receipt and put away of a large inbound shipment. Conversely, multiple receipts can be simultaneously checked in by a single employee. While checking in items, WMS notifies warehouse staff if a received good is needed to fulfill a customer backorder. In this event, instead of moving the item to inventory, it is prepared for shipping directly to the waiting customer. These features contribute to a highly effective receiving environment, and allow for greater control in the allocation of human resources, while eliminating the introduction of transcription errors.

During put-away, Sage Accpac WMS allows you to capture important information on the items such as weight, size, expiration date, and more. WMS can be configured to store products either in a default location or many locations throughout the warehouse—accelerating the put-away process. The final phase of receipt and put-away processing is the automated update of purchase orders and inventory information into your Sage Accpac accounting system.
